The TLPX/TLLX-1001 system consists of the TLPX-1001 transmitter and
TLLX-1001 receiver. Both units provide a fiber optic interface between a
standard tone-type telephone and the standard US telephone line (POTS*). All
functions including full duplex audio, dial tone, ringing and
connect/disconnect are supported. Using a pair of TLPX-1001 you can create a
phone to phone intercom system.
Both multimode and single-mode versions are available and connections to and
from the telephone and telephone line are by means of standard modular
plugs. In addition, integral indicators are provided on both units to continuously
indicate the presence of the off-hook condition as well as the presence of
operating power making system troubleshooting simple.
